NClubRSR

PLEASE NOTE: as of the date of writing (9 November 2009), we are not prepared to accept orders for our NClubRSR line of N scale models. However, we successfully test-marketed NClubRSR at the Great Scale Model Train Show at Timonium, Maryland, and we will soon exhibit NClubRSR models at the European N Scale Convention 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany. My friend Jouni Rautiainen, the genius behind the NClubRSR program, asked me to set up an NClubRSR page so that people can see what we’re up to.

So here it is: the first internet presentation of NClubRSR.

The first models are the 12-119 open wagon, the 11-270 box car, the 13-401 flat car, and the 13-4012 flat car. Body shells are resin castings with Atlas 22070 roller bearing bogies and Rapido couplers. The lettering is by Jouni Rautiainen, James McDonald, and Sherill Gross-McDonald. Actual fabrication of the models is by yours truly in Magnolia, Delaware, USA.

Price: US$17 per model. Two-packs of 11-270 box cars will be US$33, and three-packs of 12-119 open wagons will be US$49.
