Modela produce a wide range of high-quality models of rolling stock from the USSR and its successor states. The models are composed of resin castings, with added details made from die castings, brass wire, and other materials. The bogies (trucks) are plastic, and include a bogie-mounted NEM box in which you can attach your choice of coupler. We provide either a European hook-and-loop or a Kadee coupler from the 17-20 series, according to your preference.
For the first order, I purchased four each of the following models. My plan is to place further orders periodically, replacing stocks of models which sell out and ordering four or five each of other models not previously stocked. I seriously doubt that I will ever have the entire Modela range in stock it is quite extensive! but I hope to offer at least a representative sample.
Many thanks to the craftsmen at Modela! You can visit their web site at www.modela.lv. Thanks also to Aigars Klavins of Miniaturmodelle for his generous help in placing this first order.
